Our Story
An 80-Year Legacy of Family Healing.
Sláinte didn't start in 2017. It started decades earlier, with a little boy named Frosty, a head injury the doctors couldn't heal, and a mother who refused to give up.
The Edkin Family
It Started With a Boy Named Frosty.
In the Rocky Mountains, Frosty's older brother swung open the family car door. Frosty fell out and hit his head. For years afterward, he couldn't grow. Couldn't gain weight. The doctors had no answers.
Eventually his mother, who'd been seeing a chiropractor herself , pushed her husband to bring Frosty in. He went reluctantly. One adjustment was all it took. Frosty turned to his father in the office and said the words that would shape the next eighty years:
That same year, his father started chiropractic school. Frosty's brother Bruce followed, graduating Palmer in 1974. Bruce's wife Karen, told she might never conceive due to fibroids, was healed through chiropractic, graduated Palmer in 1981, and went on to have children. One of them was our own Dr. Bridget.
Dr. Bridget Edkin-Farrar is a 3rd-generation chiropractor, the 9th in her family. She spent years running from her chiropractic destiny before embracing it in 2013, and is now one of the most sought-after pediatric and prenatal chiropractors on the First Coast.

Dr. Vin's Why
His Cousin Was Diagnosed With Autism.
Dr. Vincent Farrar grew up in New York, born after a stressful labor with breathing difficulties of his own. He chose chiropractic because he wanted to help people heal without needles or medication. But school revealed something unexpected: the nervous system controls every function in the body, and most of his profession was barely scratching what was actually possible.
Then his cousin was diagnosed with autism. Suddenly the science wasn't abstract. A kid he loved was on the wrong side of a statistic nobody seemed willing to question.
His compass locked in. He wouldn't spend his career chasing back pain. He'd dedicate it to children, and to the families who'd been told there was nothing else to do. In 2016, he met Dr. Bridget at a chiropractic seminar in Atlanta and discovered she was already preaching the same vision. Six months later, Sláinte was born.

What Guides the Care
Four Things We Believe.
The body is self-healing. Born with the intelligence to grow, heal, and thrive, given the right conditions.
The nervous system runs everything. Sleep, digestion, immunity, development, emotion. It's the master control system.
Stress creates interference. Birth, falls, emotional stress, all of it can block optimal function.
Chiropractic removes the interference. We don't treat symptoms. We restore communication so the body can do what it was designed to do.
Our Core Values
The Four Things That Anchor Everything.
01
God
We put God before all things. Every great achievement bears witness to His presence.
02
Family
Every practice member is part of our family. We call everyone by name and show up during hard times.
03
Abundance
We attract abundance and share it, our time, our knowledge, our health, our wealth.
04
Freedom
Free of interference, your brain is free to dream and your body is free to make it possible.
